Dynamic pile tests on in-situ concrete displacement piles

While dynamic pile tests to determine the bearing capacity of piles have been carried out on driven piles for many years, only a few reports on the implementation of dynamic pile tests on in-situ concrete displacement piles have been available until now. The two authors have carried out dynamic pile tests on bored and driven in-situ concrete displacement piles at different construction sites in recent years. A special tensioning device was developed for this. Furthermore, additional measuring devices were built into a part of the piles in cross section. The results of the dynamic pile tests described above will be presented within this report. The possibilities and limitations of the implementation of dynamic pile tests on in-situ concrete displacement piles will be shown.
