Interpretation of Driven Tubular Pile with Soil Plug Test Results Using the Wave Impact Theory

Pile test results according to the wave impact theory using production-run equipment and software such as PDI and CAPWAP are described. The lack of possibilities of the well-known programs to take into account the formation of a soil plug while driving the tubular piles is noted. The results of the pile tests using the wave impact theory and strain gauges and accelerometer record processing data are compared with the theoretical solution of the wave equation at pile driving with due account of the soil plug formation.
