Advanced Construction Technologies
Mohan Ramanathan is chair of DFI of India and the Founder/Director of the ACT Group of Companies based in Chennai.
Ramanathan has over 40 years of experience in pile foundations, heavy earthmoving equipment, demolition and concrete flooring. He has been actively involved in identifying and transferring technologies relating to construction, ground engineering and mechanisation to India from developed countries. He is a member of several professional societies including DFII, IGS, Institution of Engineers (India), ACCE, ICI and IDA. As an active member in the DFII Executive Committee and vice chair,he is spearheading the new initiative in the introduction of Helical Screw Piles in India.
Mohan Ramanathan has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from IIT, Madras and a master’s degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the U.S.

Geotechnical Solutions
Anirudhan I.V. is immediate past chair of DFI of India. He manages Geotechnical Solutions in Chennai a geotechnical investigation and consultancy firm that conducts small and medium geotechnical investigation works in Tamilnadu and parts of South India.
During his long professional career, Anirudhan worked as a foundation design and quality control engineer on industrial projects using several deep foundation techniques. Anirudhan is closely associated with the activities of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) and was the secretary and chairman of the Chennai chapter of IGS. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Calicut University, Kerala, and his master’s degree in geotechnique from IIT Kanpur.

Manager of Operations
Pranav Jha is the assistant manager of operations at DFI of India. His role includes undertaking various activities related to workshops/seminars, conferences, and training programs. He is responsible for preparing programs for all DFII initiatives and ensuring the timely completion by conducting regular review meetings.
Pranav has a B.E. in civil engineering from PESIT, Bengaluru, India. He has previously worked as a structural steel designer for 2½ years on many U.S.-based construction projects and is well versed with relevant Indian and American codes.
He also has sound knowledge of “Quality Management Systems,” and is a trained internal auditor on Quality Management Systems as per ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Manager of Accounts & Administration
T.S. Mahendran is manager of accounts and administration for DFI of India. In addition to managing accounting and office administration, he assists with organizing executive committee meetings and conferences and workshops, and handling public relations for the chapter.
He holds an MBA in finance. Before joining DFI of India, he worked for 10 years with different industry organizations covering sales, marketing, and finance functions.

Technical Co-Ordinator
Sai Sindhu is the Technical Co-Ordinator for DFI of India. She has done her Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the University College of Engineering, JNTUK, Kakinada. She completed her Masters in Geotechnical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati. Her areas of interest include Ground Improvement Techniques, Foundation Design, and Slope Stability Analysis.
Her role includes coordinating technical committee activities, developing pool of experts, developing technical programs envisioned by the committees, helping the committees to execute programs, maintaining the design/user/application manuals developed by the sub-committees. She will also be responsible for arranging the regular committee meetings as demanded by the committee chairs (online and physical).
