Continuous Flight Auger Pile (India)
The DFI of India (DFII) Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) Pile Technology Implementation Committee was formed in 2018 with the goal to introduce and popularize the use of CFA piles to address the growing fast track piling needs in India. The project, involving the installation and testing of CFA piles, was successfully conducted between November 2018 and November 2019. The Committee prepared a manual about the design, installation and testing of CFA piles, and is disseminating knowledge in Indian geotechnical professionals through seminars and workshops. The committee is working closely with the DFI Augered Cast-in-Place and Drilled Displacement Committee in the U.S.
