Nicole Robinson has joined the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) team as the new editor for Deep Foundations. She has more than a decade of experience writing for and editing trade magazines in the construction and engineering field, including Tunnels & Tunnelling North America and Cranes Today.
Robinson is from Minneapolis and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is currently living in London, where she writes as a freelance journalist and is working on a master’s degree in sustainable urbanism at University College London.
“I look forward to getting to know the DFI membership, and I know there will be many familiar faces from the tunnelling industry, too. I’m also eager to learn about all the interesting projects this industry is tackling, as well as finding out how the magazine can best serve its readership.”
