Morgan NeSmith is a director of engineering at Berkel & Company Contractors, Inc., and has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech and over 20 years of experience in geotechnical contracting and consulting. NeSmith has authored and co-authored numerous papers on deep foundations and ground improvement systems.

Chris Woods
Woods is vice president for the Virginia-based dynamic compaction specialty contractor, Densification. His geotechnical consulting experience includes design of shallow and deep foundation systems, evaluation of earth slope stability, design of retaining walls, design of ground improvement programs, geotechnical instrumentation monitoring, and extensive construction oversight.

Lucky Nagarajan is the general manager-engineering and business development at Geocomp. She is a member of the DFI Board of Trustees and the chair of DFI’s Women in Deep Foundations Committee.

Sebastian Lobo-Guerrero
Sebastian Lobo-Guerrero, Ph.D., P.E., is a geotechnical project manager/AAP laboratory manager at American Geotechnical & Environmental Services (A.G.E.S.) in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, headquarters. He has more than 18 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, specializing in the design of deep/ shallow foundations, earth retaining structures and landslide stabilization.
